Modelling Paste
(this paste is very suitable for 3D modelling work)

Flower paste |
| fondant or pettinice |
|
vegetable fat |
METHOD
| 1. | Weigh equal quantities of both pastes |
| 2. | Rub your
work surface and hands with a little vegetable fat. |
| 3. | Kneed
the pastes together until completely blended. |
| Place
the ball of paste in a plastic bag and then seal in a plastic container.
Allow the paste to rest for 2 hrs. before using. Knead the paste once a week
when not in use. Keep refrigerated in hot weather. Keeps for approx. 3
months. |

| The advantage of using this paste for modelling is that it takes a little longer than straight flower paste to dry thus giving you more time to get the shapes you need but the flower paste makes the item made strong. | |
